CommonVoice

How it works

From community stories to amplified action.

Five stages, one mission. Every story moves through a pipeline designed to be scalable, ethical, and emotionally powerful, with human oversight at every step.

The pipeline

The journey every story takes.

  1. Stage 1 / 5

    Collection

    Output
Raw audio, text, or visual testimonies.

We gather anonymous stories from communities, through secure portals, encrypted hotlines, and trusted partner networks. Contributors choose how they share, and we meet them where they are.

    Tools

    • Signal
    • Encrypted web portals
    • Partner networks

  2. Stage 2 / 5

    Adaptation

    Output
Scripts, AI voice and avatar assets, subtitles, localized versions.

Stories become scripts paired with AI voices, avatars, and visuals. We tune for emotional resonance, cultural relevance, and alignment with progressive values, without losing what made the story matter.

    Tools

    • AI voice synthesis
    • Avatar generation
    • Subtitle systems
    • Editorial review

  3. Stage 3 / 5

    Campaigns

    Output
Coordinated CTAs: petitions, donations, and events.

High-impact stories team up with creators, NGOs, and unions on coordinated, paid campaigns. We bring contracts, kits, and tracking so the work scales without losing its grounding.

    Tools

    • Contract templates
    • Campaign kits
    • Impact tracking

  4. Stage 4 / 5

    Distribution

    Output
AI-narrated videos, podcasts, memes, reels, and interactive posts.

Content publishes where audiences actually live (TikTok, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, YouTube), tailored to each platform and audience segment. Human oversight runs every step.

    Tools

    • Cross-platform scheduling
    • Analytics dashboards
    • A/B testing

  5. Stage 5 / 5

    Feedback

    Output
Impact reports, audience insights, and content remixes.

We measure engagement, conversions, and real-world impact: petition signatures, event attendance, policy moves. Insights loop back into the next round of stories.

    Tools

    • Performance dashboards
    • Feedback surveys
    • Remix templates

Our commitments

Four pledges. Held to every story.

We protect.
Contributors are always protected. No real faces or identifying details are used without explicit consent.
We ask.
Every story is submitted with full awareness of how it will be used and shared. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
We review.
Human editors review all content for tone, accuracy, sensitivity, and alignment with our values before publication.
We disclose.
We're open about our use of AI, the role of human oversight, and how we measure impact across every campaign.

Common questions.

  • Who can submit a story?

Anyone with a real, progressive-aligned experience to share. We welcome stories from individuals, NGOs, unions, and community groups. All submissions are anonymous unless otherwise specified.

  • How are stories selected?

Stories are evaluated based on their emotional potential, audience relevance, and alignment with progressive values. Urgent or time-sensitive stories may be fast-tracked for rapid response.

  • What platforms do you distribute on?

We publish where target audiences are most active: TikTok, Instagram Reels, WhatsApp, Telegram, and YouTube. Content is tailored to each platform's format and audience.

  • How do you ensure anonymity?

We use AI voices and avatars to replace real identities, and all stories are reviewed to remove or obscure identifying details. Contributors can also choose to remain completely anonymous.

  • Can I collaborate on a paid campaign?

Yes. If you're a creator, NGO, or union with a campaign idea, reach out to discuss collaboration. We offer contract-based support for high-impact projects.
